This painting holds special meaning for me. It is a portrait of my cousin’s daughter, Dena, a beautiful Ethiopian girl who was adopted after her mother tragically passed away. Her eyes, full of life and mesmerizing, left a lasting impression on me.
Her name, Dena, also holds significance, as it is the name of a majestic mountain in Iran, symbolizing strength and resilience.
For the 20th anniversary exhibition of Artelibre Gallery in Spain, I was invited to create a 20×20 cm painting, which is now part of the MEAM Museum Hall collection in Barcelona
